Lebanon
The recent attacks in Lebanon have killed thousands, injured many and displaced families from their homes. 100% of your donation to the Disaster Relief Fund at the Center for Arab American Philanthropy (CAAP), with a 50% match from CAAP, will be granted to Amel Association International, providing food, water, shelter, trauma support and more. Gaza
The relentless atrocities in Gaza have left families displaced for nearly a year, without access to basic resources, healthcare and other critical support. Here’s how you can help:
- 100% of your donation to the Disaster Relief Fund at CAAP will be granted to United Palestinian Appeal and UNRWA USA, both providing on-the-ground support. Learn more and give here.
- 100% of your donation to CAAP’s Taawon Fund will support Taawon’s orphan aid program, addressing urgent needs and providing long-term support to orphans until they are 18. Learn more and give here.
- 100% of your donation to CAAP’s Gaza Scholarship Initiative for Displaced Students will support Gazan students who wish to attend college in the U.S., covering expenses such as accommodation, meals, textbooks, registration fees, partial tuition, visa applications, evacuation expenses, air travel and other logistical needs. Sudan
Sudan is facing a severe humanitarian crisis, leading to widespread displacement, food shortages and a breakdown of essential services across the country. Below are some organizations helping to bring relief:
- Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA): SAPA is raising funds for Sudanese refugees by providing medical supplies, mobile clinics and medical camps. They also run a Hunger Relief Program to address food insecurity for millions of Sudanese. Learn more here.
- Nubia Health Center: Fiscally sponsored by Myriad USA, Nubia is dedicated to improving maternal and child health in Sudan through community-based health programs. Learn more here.

U.S. Southeast (Hurricane Helene and Milton)
Hurricane Helene, the deadliest mainland hurricane to strike the U.S. since Katrina, caused widespread flooding and major power outages.
- The American Red Cross is operating and supporting dozens of shelters in the region and helping people reconnect with loved ones who are unaccounted for after the storm. Learn more here.
- World Central Kitchen, has served tens of thousands of free meals in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. They are setting up high-capacity kitchens in the hardest-hit areas, including Asheville, North Carolina and Clearwater, Florida. Learn more here.

Syria
Many Syrian communities, whether within Syria or outside the country, continue to face the effects of being displaced from their homes, including those impacted by the 2023 earthquake that devastated many families.

Yemen
The people of Yemen are enduring one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises with nearly 10 million children affected at risk of starvation and disease.
