Endowed Funds

What if you could make an impact…forever?

Endowed funds at the Center for Arab American Philanthropy (CAAP) offer donors the incredible option of giving back – in perpetuity. When you endow a fund, the fund is invested and collects interest over time. A certain percentage of the fund is available on an annual basis to make grants to your chosen cause(s). An endowment ensures that the fund continues to make a difference long after the donor’s lifetime.

One incredible example of this kind of legacy is the Jack G. and Bernice M. Shaheen Endowed Media Scholarship Fund. Jack and Bernice Shaheen had been giving scholarships to Arab Americans studying media for many years before establishing their fund at CAAP. Now, through their endowed fund, their generosity will live on for years to come.
