Students committed to equity awarded as the 2022 Ali, Isabella and Giselle Abbas Legacy Scholars

The Ali, Isabella and Giselle Abbas Legacy Scholarship honors the lives of Ali, Isabella and Giselle, who were tragically killed in a 2019 crash along with their parents, Dr. Rima and Issam Abbas. The fund and scholarship, established by Dr. Rima’s sister, Rana Abbas-Taylor, and her husband, Tom Taylor, aim to carry on Ali, Isabella and Giselle’s generous legacy by supporting senior students in Northville Public Schools who demonstrate a commitment to education, community service and the values of helping to create a just, equitable and inclusive society. Congratulations to this year’s recipients, Mehmet Efe Tascioglu, Annika Zaar, and Jack Piasentin!
