Since 2007, Blog Action Day has been uniting the world’s bloggers by posting about the same issue on the same day, in order to raise awareness and trigger a global discussion around an important issue that impacts us all. This year’s theme for Blog Action Day (October 15) is “The Power of We,” a topic that encapsulates the Center for Arab American Philanthropy’s vision to build a legacy of giving in the Arab American community, shaping the future of our society through the collective power of our philanthropy and empowering the community to be change makers and community builders.

CAAP seeks to do this by leveraging each gift to expand our philanthropy locally and nationally, and by offering a pathway for each of us to become philanthropists, providing safe, productive venues for giving

Established in 2006, CAAP is the only national, full-service philanthropic institution  operating on a community foundation model that serves the Arab American community. Through education, grantmaking and donor outreach, CAAP supports and celebrates Arab American philanthropy, giving Arab Americans the ability to leverage our giving in support of the issues, causes and organizations we care passionately about.
