Fordson students carry on Issam and Dr. Rima Abbas’s legacy

The Issam and Dr. Rima Abbas Endowed Scholarship was established in memory of Issam and Dr. Rima Abbas, who were tragically killed in a 2019 crash along with their children, Ali, Isabella and Giselle. This scholarship program aims to further the commitment Issam and Dr. Rima had to higher education by supporting high school seniors at Fordson High School, where Issam and Rima met as students. Congratulations to this year’s recipients, Assmma Eidy, Ahmed Shareef, and Norma Makkki, and thank you for helping carry on Issam and Dr. Rima’s legacy.
