As we reflect on the year, one thing is clear: your support has been a powerful force of perseverance, solidarity and generosity. The Center for Arab American Philanthropy (CAAP) is so grateful for your commitment to communities across the nation and the world, offering a light of hope even amongst adverse and painful times.

2024 Year in Review:
In fiscal year 2023-2024, our CAAP community and supporters allowed us to grant a total of $2,385,910 to critical causes, ranging from arts/culture to human services and disaster relief, among others.
CAAP’s sixteen scholarship programs granted a total of $449,437 to more than 100 students of various degrees and disciplines across the country.
We responded to the atrocities faced by Palestinians in Gaza by:
- Granting $536,584 to support humanitarian relief through our Disaster Relief Fund
- Launching a campaign for Taawon’s Gaza Orphan Care Program
- Funding partial tuition scholarships for 7 Gazan students as they pursue higher education in the U.S. through our Gaza Scholarship Initiative for Displaced Students Fund
To protect the civil rights of pro-Palestine activists in the U.S., CAAP mobilized a fundraising effort, including several events, to grant $42,456 to Palestine Legal.
To support families affected by the devastating violence in Lebanon, CAAP’s Disaster Relief Fund granted $104,775 to support Amel Association International’s on-the-ground work.
We took our annual Threads of Giving Gala to Houston this year to honor the resilience and generosity of beloved community leaders, Michael and Hoda Kardoush.
We created opportunities for collective giving, such as through our 100 Arab American Women Who Care giving circles in Michigan, Texas and Florida!
High schoolers in our Teen Grantmaking Initiative (TGI) fundraised and granted $6,500 to organizations addressing mental health, education and healthy coping mechanisms.
CAAP’s Community Impact Fund and the National Network for Arab American Communities (NNAAC) collaborated to grant $110,000 to Arab American arts/culture, human services and civic engagement organizations across the country.
