Every year, the Center for Arab American Philanthropy (CAAP) presents the Outstanding Arab American Philanthropist of the Year Award to a community member who goes above and beyond in dedicating their time, talent and treasure to making a positive impact. We then celebrate their contributions at our annual Threads of Giving Gala.
We are honored this year to bring our Gala to the Washington, D.C. area on September 13, 2025, to celebrate the remarkable Dr. Azizah al-Hibri, a highly respected lawyer, professor and scholar, whose commitment to giving back is reflected in her work as an institution-builder, thought leader and human rights advocate.
