Gathering for the 12-annual event, the 100 Arab American Women Who Care in Michigan recently congregated and pooled their generosity into a $10,000 grant for The Women’s Center of Southeastern Michigan, a local nonprofit dedicated to the economic and emotional self-determination of women, girls and families.
This giving circle not only shows what’s possible when Arab Americans give together, but because the grant is going to a women’s organization, it also highlights the commitment of Arab American women to support other women across different communities. What better way to showcase our generosity and solidarity?
