Since the early 1900s, Arabs have been arriving to the U.S., bringing with them a rich heritage of giving. As the nation’s only Arab American community foundation, CAAP believes that these contributions must be spotlighted and celebrated.

At CAAP’s signature Threads of Giving Gala, we honor these contributions by awarding an Outstanding Arab American Philanthropist of the Year to an individual who captures the essence of Arab American generosity and has made a transformative change in the lives of others.

From Texas to Massachusetts to New York, our gala travels coast-to-coast to the awardee’s state, and has honored various incredible Arab American leaders who have led humanitarian relief efforts, started their own robust nonprofits, promoted educational opportunities, built appreciation for Arab American heritage, fostered innovation in their careers and so much more.
