Mohamad Ali Bitar’s Life and Legacy
Mohamad Ali Bitar was known for his kind heart, humility and ability to bring people together. What mattered most to him was being surrounded by family, friends and his community.
Mohamad spent his early childhood in Texas before moving to Dearborn, Michigan, in the fifth grade. As a kid, he was full of energy, with a love for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek and his favorite food, pizza. He also played football throughout middle school and high school, where he was known to be a supportive team player.
As he grew older, Mohamad was always at the center of gatherings, bringing friends and neighbors together. His parents’ house was the go-to spot, where in the summer, he hosted basketball games, and in the winter, everyone came over to play video games. Even from a young age, Mohamad was known for his generous spirit, always offering a helping hand whenever needed.
Mohamad’s curiosity about life’s bigger questions motivated him to study philosophy and anthropology at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where he graduated in 2015. He had ambitions of becoming lawyer.
Mohamad passed away on November 19, 2015. His legacy lives on through this fund, which continues his spirit of kindness and community support.
