Types of Funds

The Center for Arab American Philanthropy (CAAP) offers several options for you to make a bigger impact on the causes you care about. Check out the services we offer, and don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.

Impact Area Funds

Impact area funds make a greater difference to a specific cause. Individuals establish an impact area fund by choosing a social cause to support and recruiting people they know to donate. This increased awareness creates the potential for their fund to make a big impact on a worthy cause.

Donor Advised Funds

Donor-advised funds offer a convenient, low-risk solution to conduct your charitable giving. You can distribute your money through an expendable fund account, or choose to leave a legacy through our endowed fund option.

Competitive Grantmaking Funds

CAAP’s Competitive Grantmaking Funds are used to support our Competitive Grantmaking Programs, which support Arab American community organizations, international disaster recovery and other causes.

Giving Circles

Giving circles are a fun and social way to get started with strategic giving. There are many ways to form a giving circle, but the general idea is that giving circle members pool their resources to make a greater impact.
