You’re invited to Taste the World at the first annual Teen Grantmaking Initiative (TGI) TasteFest!

TGI is the only Arab American youth philanthropy program in the country. Launched in 2011, TGI trains teens to give back to their community through philanthropy and community service. This year’s TGI grants will focus on preventing substance abuse and domestic violence in Southeast Michigan. TGI is an incredible experience that builds strong leaders and empowers youth to change the world!

By attending the 2016 TasteFest, you will:

  • Meet Amanda Saab, contestant on MasterChef
  • Sample foods from all over the world, generously donated by Dearborn-area businesses
  • Participate in a youth-powered movement philanthropy movement against drug abuse and domestic violence
  • Learn about the impact of the TGI program through personal stories from members
  • Congratulate our graduating seniors & watch the students give $5,000 to their grantees at their check presentation!

All proceeds from this event will be directed to the TGI grantmaking fund. We hope to see you there!
